Technical cooperation is crucial to strengthen the capacity-building of competition authorities around the world. COFECE promotes mechanisms that foster interaction, exchange of knowledge, and facilitate law enforcement.

COFECE’s Internship Program for Continuing Education in Competition for Latin America and the Caribbean was designed with the objective of establishing closer ties with countries in the region and promoting mutual understanding of the laws, policies and competition practices.

Through this program, officials from Latin American and Caribbean agencies join COFECE’s work and investigation teams, and participate in their day-to-day tasks, allowing interns to gain first-hand knowledge and experience of the proceedings and practices conducted in the different areas of the Mexican authority.
